Here comes ‘Chronicles’

Here nabs rights to anthology

Here, the pay TV network aimed at gay auds, has bought the rights to “The DL Chronicles,” an independently produced anthology of three half-hours consisting of short episodes dealing with “men of color who lead double sex lives.”

Title of the show, produced in 2005 for less than $10,000 by Quincy LeNearand Deondray Gossett, refers to men who are “on the down low,” that is, who identify themselves as straight but secretly have sex with other men.

Here said it would commission nine more half-hour episodes next year and start scheduling the three already completed in the spring.
